Hi guys,
Someone released a new plugin for gameservers, that the serversounds (cl_restrict_server_commands from es_cexec) are back by default. More infos here:

Dont forget to change in serverplugin_clientcommand file the path for hl2mp if you install on your server ^^.

Yes, in fact we have been using this plugin
(see post from Virus here: viewtopic.php?t=561&start=15) on servers 1 and 6.

Since the last Valve update:
viewtopic.php?t=577
the plugin does not work, but "playsound" command works on clients for any value of cl_restrict_server_commands. So the sounds should work now anyway.
